I have never kept it much of a secret, Flora Bar is one of my very favorite restaurants in the city. This is why I've been super excited to check out restauranteur and chef duo Thomas Carter and Ignacio Matto's restaurant Café Altro Paradiso. Oh, it's so lovely.

Taking over the sunny southern corner of Spring Street and Sixth Avenue is the tan awninged black framed windowed façade of that quintessential restaurant you'd hope to find in the heart of SoHo. Inside, you'll find yourself amongst the wood and marble tables in an industrial-chic atmosphere.

The Italian inspired dishes are almost too pretty to eat—if they didn't smell so good they would be. I won't lie, even the add on's were killer. The bread plate and the thick cut crispy fries took the meal to the next level (you'll see what I'm talking about when you go). Then there are the pastas. Oh man, the Candele Cacio e Pepe is served perfectly al dente with the exact right amount of cheese, salt, and pepper.

Go for lunch, you've gotta check out their Waygu Burger and crispy flaky Baccalà Fritto Sandwich.
