Candy Corn Chocolate Cookies
When I used to think of halloween, it was always about "who can I be this year"—it was exciting! I don't quite know when that changed for me. I want to say it's that I became an adult but so many friends of mine begin planning their costumes out during the summer. Well, around that same time, I'm the one planning for Halloween on a gluttonous level. I'm all about the idea of an elevated Halloween with a mix of boozy treats, indulgent sweets, and instead of spending an hour on my phantom makeup taking that hour to decorate a cake. I promise you, my friends aren't complaining. Quite the opposite, they love it!
Now, these cookies. I love candy corn. Yup, I'm that girl who can eat them by the bag full. They're super fun to make with kids and are booze free so they can eat them, too. If you're looking for a beautiful cookie that is themed perfectly for Halloween without being gimmicky, this is the cookie for you!
BOOzy Almond Joy Cake
Move aside kiddos, this one's for us! Forever and ever, Almond Joys have been some of my favorite candies. And, rum, well rum makes everything fun. Putting them together, I have yet to have a more brilliant thought, ever. I know cakes can be a little intimidating, don't fear this one, it's easier than it looks which is great for a party because it surely has wow factor.
If you're like me and you're still in denial about summer being over, bring it back! Nothing screams summer quite like s'mores do. And, beyond being my favorite cake of all time, it's a perfect recognizable dessert for Halloween. Somehow, those roasted marshmallows feel in the Halloween theme for me. It's ghostly without being too in your face.
At every party, I love to have something bite-sized. Since I don't love the idea of giving unwrapped candies to children trick-or-treaters, you know in wrappers they recognize and parents can comfortably give the glance go-ahead to, I made these bites for us adults. Oh, yeah, they're spiked with whiskey—you're welcome, in advance! (watch the minute long video of me making these)
The Dessert You Drink
Put all your sweets in a cup, add in Baileys and cold brew and you have a boo-zy cocktail guaranteed to give an indulgent caffeinated kick to your party! If you're looking to keep it going all night long, these are the quintessential drinks to have on site! Feel free to top with themed candies! I love the idea of a ghost peep tossed in there! Maybe some candy corn sprinkled on top! Get crazy with it!
Gingersnap Pumpkin Spice Ice SCREAM Sandwiches
If you are looking to celebrate the Fall season, doing it with gingersnap and pumpkin spice flavors is truly the best way! It's an elevated take that takes your party to the next level. Put a cute sign by the rest of your sweets telling guests about them and then grab them from your freezer. Guests will love that extra effort that you put into your event (and to think that you did it with a no-bake recipe)!
Pumpkin Spice BOO-zy Shooters
It's Halloween, so here is your treat AND TRICK! It's sweet and even with what looks like a very minimal amount of booze, boozy! Much like taking a tequila shot where you lick the salt, take the shot and bit the lime, this drink has a process. Take one epic bite of chocolate whipped cream and then shoot back your shooter—now, it's a party!
Reese's Stuffed French Toast
You so need to buy extra Reese's when you place your Halloween candy order on FreshDirect so that you can make this spooktacular stuffed french toast brunch—it's the perfect way to pre-game Halloween right!
