NYC Meatball Guide
These meatballs are most definitely not your momma's!
Polpette 71 was voted best meatballs in the five boroughs and boy, do they take this title seriously. There are 5 different options for preparation including the classic in Pomodoro sauce and the “stolen” meatballs which are made in the frying pan for a crispy outside and a melt-in-your-mouth soft inside.
Both the food and décor of Sauce provide world class comfort at its’ finest. Meatballs are not the only highlight though, house specialties like the lasagna alla Bolognese will keep you coming back for more.
The Meatball Shop
With its’ dry erase check box menus, this place radiates fun from the minute you walk in. Check off the type of ball and sauce you want and you’re ready to go. Follow up your meal with an epic icecream sandwich. This spot is in regular rotation as per my go to restaurants.
Celebrity chef, Michael White, is the man behind this adorable pizza shop. Order the meatballs or create your own pizza, you can’t go wrong.
La Pecora Bianca
I find myself visiting La Pecora Bianca over and over again and always remembering why I do. Their menu game is strong down to their balls.
