Candy Corn Chocolate Halloween Cookies
Little says "Halloween Treat" like candy corn.
TO MAKE YOUR COOKIE DOUGH. in your large mixing bowl, use your electric hand mixer to cream together your sugar and butter until it's light and fluffy.
While still mixing, add in your egg and vanilla.
In your medium mixing bowl, combine your flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt.
Pour your flour mixture over your butter mixture.
Continue using your hand mixer to beat it all together until you have a smooth and even batter.
TO BAKE YOUR COOKIE. preheat your oven to 350°.
Line your baking sheet with parchment paper.
Scoop tablespoon sized scoops of your batter onto your baking sheet making sure that your scoops are 2 inches apart from each other.
Bake for 9 minutes.
Immediately, before allowing your cookies to cool, press 6 pieces of your candy corn in a circle on top of each cookie.
Once all cookies are decorated, use your spatula to transfer them to your cooling rack.
