Peanut M&M Brownies

In my world, brownies are always on the menu—so make them effin' delicious! These are killer. I made them for the Super Bowl and my friends plotzed (there the jew in me goes, again) but like seriously, they were demolished. I knew they were epic when the next day I started getting texts asking for the recipe. Here you go, my amazing friends!

PREP TIME: 10 minutes

BAKE TIME: 30 minutes

COOL TIME: 5 Minutes

TOTAL TIME: 45 minutes

8 - 12 Brownies (depending on how you big cut them)

Unsalted Butter (1 Stick, Cut Into Small Cubes)

White Sugar (1 1/4 Cups)

Unsweetened Cocoa (1 Cup)

Madagascar Bourbon Pure Vanilla Extract (1/2 Tsp)

All Purpose Flour (1/4 Cup)

Bourbon (1 Tsp)

Eggs (2)

Peanut M&Ms (1 Cup)

Light Brown Sugar (2 Tbsp For Topping)

Butter Cooking Spray

Salt (1/4 Tsp)

Stand Mixer with Paddle Attachment

8x8" Baking Dish

Parchment Paper

Rubber Spatula

1. TO MAKE YOUR BROWNIES. preheat your oven to 325°.

In your stand mixer at a slow speed, cream together your white sugar and butter cubes.

Add in your cocoa, flour and salt.

Add in your bourbon, vanilla extract and eggs.

Once you have a thick smooth creamy chocolaty batter, remove your bowl from your stand mixer.

Use your rubber spatula to fold in your peanut M&Ms.

Use your butter spray to coat your baking dish. Lay a piece of parchment paper in your buttered baking dish that's long enough to hang over its sides.

Pour your batter into your baking dish. Use your spatula to even it out.

Sprinkle your brown sugar over your batter.

Bake for 30 minutes—or until if you stick a toothpick in you get crumbs versus batter. If it's slightly battery, that's good that means they will be extra fudgy after they cool.

Let cool for 5 minutes before cutting it into squares.
