Pumpkin Bread


October is almost over but I’m so not ready to kick my pumpkin eating habit. So, with that in mind, I had to whip up this simply delicious bread so I can turn around and make a fall-tastic pumpkin stuffing


TIME

PREP TIME: 10 minutes

BAKE TIME: 55 minutes

TOTAL TIME: 1 hour 5 minutes



YIELDS

1 Loaf



INGREDIENTS

All-Purpose Flour (1 1/2 Cups)

White Sugar (1 Cup)

Nutmeg (1 Tbsp)

Baking Powder (1 Tsp)

Salt (1/4 Tsp)

Pumpkin Puree (1 Cup)

Eggs (2, Beaten)

Unsalted Butter (1 Stick, Melted)

Orange Juice (1/4 Cup)



KITCHEN ITEMS

Nonstick Bread Pan (Lightly Coat In Butter)

Large Mixing Bowl

Medium Mixing Bowl

Rubber Spatula

Toothpick

  1. TO MAKE YOUR PUMPKIN BREAD. preheat your oven to 350°.

    In your large mixing bowl, combine your flour, sugar, nutmeg, salt and baking powder.

    In your medium mixing bowl, mix together your pumpkin puree, eggs, butter and orange juice.

    Using your rubber spatula, fold this mixture into your flour mixture in your large mixing bowl.

    Pour your mixture into your bread pan.

    Put your filled baking pan in the oven for 55 minutes—or till you stick a toothpick in it and no batter only crumbs come out.
