Smoked Salmon Avocado Toast

Avocado, lox and eggs—these are a few of my favorite things!


PREP TIME: 5 minutes

COOK TIME: 4 minutes

TOTAL TIME: 9 minutes

Multigrain Bread (1 Texas Toast Sized Slice)

Avocado (1/2, Pitted And Peeled)

Poached Egg (1)

Smoked Salmon (3 Slices)

Salted Capers (8-10)

Pickled Mustard Seeds (1/4 Tsp)

Lemon (1/4, Juice)

1. TO MAKE YOUR TOAST. preheat your oven to 400°.

Put your slice of bread on your baking sheet. Bake for 4 minutes.


2. TO MAKE YOUR AVOCADO. put your avocado in your mixing bowl.

Squeeze in your lemon juice.

Using the back of your fork, mash down your avocado till it becomes a mush.

Your mashed avocado should not be smooth or even.

Add salt to taste.


3. TO PUT IT ALL TOGETHER. put your toasted slice of bread on the plate you plan to serve it on.

Scoop on your avocado mixture and spread it evenly across your toast.

Pile on your smoked salmon.

Place your poached egg on top of it all.

Sprinkle on your capers.

Use your fork to place your mustard seeds in spots evenly around  your toast.

Grab a fork and knife and get on a'eatin'! It's so so good! Enjoy!
