Danny Meyer strikes again. There are his high-end restaurants but this one goes out to his fast-casual fans. If you love his Shake Shake burger haven and figured that a dollar slice pizza joint was a good enough pizza equivalent, Martina is here to show you that there are more pizza options to be had.

Fast food pizza is not a mind blowing concept, we grab it on a regular basis here in NYC. This is different. The pizza has that thin-crust with a balance of crispiness and doughiness that you stop for when strolling down the streets of Rome. With a variety of pizzas on the menu ranging from seven to twelve dollars each—from the Fior Di Zucca, a white pizza topped with zucchini flowers, anchovy and mozzarella to the Capricciosa which is topped with artichokes, ham, mushrooms, black olives, mozzarella and an egg—Nick Anderer, chef behind Union Square Hospitality Group's Malalino and Marta restaurants plans to cook off ninety pizzas per hour.

Much like the Shake Shack model, diners will enter the restaurant, order at the counter, receive a buzzer and be alerted by it when their pizza is ready.

I am over-the-moon to tell you that this pizzeria is fully stocked with a champagne fridge! Don't miss it. The only thing better than eating pizza alone is sipping bubbly at the same time—you know I'm right.
