I first met the, well, Three Kings of the Three Kings Group at the 2017 SoBe Wine And Food Festival. Chef Dale Talde, David Massoni, and John Bush are super fun and talented people. The second you set foot into Massoni in the Arlo Hotel you can't help but see that come to life. In all of their restaurants, they have a great way of mixing high-quality food with a playful and, in this case, a controlled New York gritty vibe.
From the exposed brick graffiti-clad walls to the wooden chevron based bar, their now signature clustered domed hanging lights, and racks on racks on racks of awesome booze behind the bar, you know you’re in the right place for a good ol’ time!
As for the food, the kings coin it as “Inauthentic Italian” cuisine because they are taking classic Italian dishes and reinventing them with multi-cultural flavors and ingredients. Think a square pizza topped with prime rib or biriyani arancini.
Regardless of the dish, if Chef Dale Talde had anything to do with it (which duh he did) it’s gonna be awesome. I wolfed down his Spicy Chicken Sandwich in what has to be a record time. This isn’t your average hotel restaurant and bar. Check it out for yourself. Y O U W I L L L O V E ! ! !
