GREEN SAUCE that you’ll want to pour on everything

Seriously, this sauce belongs on everything! I’ve been tossing my son’s noodles in it—he inhales it every time. I use it as a salad dressing. I’ve coated my potato wedges in it. I’ve sat a piece of salmon on top of it. It’s the everything sauce that takes almost no time to make and is always sitting in a mason jar in my fridge these days. If you’re looking to have something on hand to take your food to the next level quickly, this is it.

AVOCADO TOMATILLO GREEN SAUCE

Ingredients

• Tomatillos (1 quart which is roughly 12 tomatillos, cut into quarters)
• Avocado (1, peeled and pitted)
• Garlic (1 clove)
• Cilantro (1/4 cup packed)
• Fresno Pepper (1, seeds removed, cut into quarters)
• Lemon Juice (1 tablespoon)

KITCHEN ITEMS

• Cutting Board
• Chefs Knife
• Food Processor

Instructions

TO MAKE YOUR GREEN SAUCE

1. In your food processor, combine everything—aka your tomatillos, avocado garlic, cilantro, Fresno pepper, and lemon juice. Blend until it is all a liquidy mush.
2. It won’t be smooth. What you are looking for is an even level of texture.
3. Toss it on something and enjoy!
