Overnight oats are so great because you can truly customize it so effortlessly. Really all you need is the oats and a milk of your choice as your base and the rest is flare. But you know me, I always aim to give you beyond the basics. I want to give you a yummy experience. So, if you’re looking to try overnight oats for the first time, definitely try this recipe, it’s super delicious!

Note: because of the bananas in this one, you’ll want to eat it within two-three days.

TO MAKE YOUR OVERNIGHT OATS
  1. Put half of your banana in your mixing bowl with your chopped date and muddle it down until your banana is mush and your dates are speckled in there—about 15 seconds.
  2. In your mason jar, mix together your oats, chia seeds, and cinnamon.
  3. Stir in your banana puree.
  4. Stir in your honey peanut butter
  5. Add your almond milk. Close the lid on your mason jar and shake it until everything is incorporated.
  6. Open your mason jar and top with granola.
  7. Chop the second half of your banana and sprinkle it on top.
  8. Close your mason jar.
  9. Refrigerate for 5 hours or more if you can.
