Me, I placed it over a salad and I have to tell you, it was incredible there too. It is such an easy salmon recipe that can be paired so easily for a weeknight dinner or for any time you host guests. TO MAKE YOUR PESTO
  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In your food processor, combine your basil, garlic, walnuts, parmesan cheese, and extra virgin olive oil. Blend till you have a thick pesto. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
TO MAKE YOUR SALMON
  1. Season your salmon with salt and pepper. Pat it on using the palm of your hand.
  2. Divide your pesto mixture evenly over your salmon filets. Spread it evenly over the top of your salmon using either a rubber spatula or your fingertips. You should have an even layer of pesto covering the top of each salmon filet.
  3. Bake until your salmon has an internal temperature of 135º—about 19 minutes.
