Sitting at a wooden table with their front window to my back, I looked out onto L’Adresse American Bistro, a minimalistic medium toned wooden space. Sipping on their Thai Coffee mixed with coconut, condensed milk, and ice I looked up at my friend who has just taken her first gulp of the Pâte á Bombe which is their Americano with creamy French mousse. Of course, I tasted it and before even swallowing, I was envious of her order.

Out came dish after dish and course after course of Executive Chef Titus Wang's dishes. I want to say that each was more beautiful than the last but that's really not accurate, they were all gorgeous. It is accessible extremely high quality American fare using the seasons freshest ingredients. The dishes are complex showing off traditional French and Asian influences. Yes, you'll get your beef carpaccio but it will be wagyu with thoughtfully placed dollops of mustard seeds, pieces of figs and a pick-up-sticks styled overlapping topping of chives. There are juicy classics like a cheeseburger and steak frites to pick from and then there is an incredibly refined creamy cauliflower soup with a deliberately popped egg yolk stretching from the soft poached egg in the center and extending to the edge of its bowl. Every moment spent at that table was filled with wonderfully exciting dishes. I seriously cannot wait to go back (like tomorrow)!
