BLUE RIBBON FRIED CHICKEN

I'm a firm believer that if you are going to have a cheat meal, you'd better go all out! Blue Ribbon Fried Chicken is so the way to do it right! From the second you walk through those metal doors and are enveloped by the smell of grease and golden fry, you know you have found your cheat day haven. Every piece of fried chicken has a perfectly crisp fry where your bite is first met with a crack through the the exterior followed by a juicy meaty inside. Make it even better and add on fries or (and) tots! It a cheat day, don't think too long, you know you want it topped with cheddar, bacon and sour cream, aka "the works". 

For a fast casual restaurant there is so much fun being had! Every month, they highlight a new and exciting chicken sandwich that will live on the menu for that month only—such a brilliant way to get me back time and time again! For June, in honor of summertime in the city, they have created a Coney Island inspired fried chicken sandwich. Coined "the beach bird" this fried chicken sandwich is stuffed with a hotdog and fries and topped a pickle—adorably genius! I never liked theme parties, but this kind of theme I am a hundred percent behind! Can't wait to see what July holds. I'm sure I'll see you there!
